Alongside Yorkshire Sculpture International, we are offering the following opportunities to artists based in Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Sculpture International associate artist programme

This is a bespoke professional development programme for five artists working in sculpture who are based in Yorkshire. Over a period of 9 months, from January to September 2019 the selected artists will:

  • Receive a £7,500 award to create new work
  • Have the opportunity to invite and meet key visiting artists, curators and writers in a programme developed in partnership with Yorkshire Sculpture International
  • Get career development mentoring from the Yorkshire Sculpture International team and one of the Yorkshire Sculpture International partner institutions (either the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, The Hepworth Wakefield or Yorkshire Sculpture Park)
  • Be part of this creative network of associate artists

There will be an open application process, details to be announced in September. Curators from each institution will be on the selection panel. The programme begins in January 2019.
